Job summary

Imperial Brady in Dothan, AL seeks a Driver Straight Truck/Class B Delivery Driver to join a growing transportation group. You’ll be responsible for a daily route of stops, unloading by hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, and delivering merchandise to customer locations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. You’ll maintain safety, document activity logs, and provide exceptional customer service to support our operations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license is required.
• Must pass DOT Medical Exam.
• Good driving record required.
• 1 year of CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic expected.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck (GVW 26,000).
• Load and unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document the activity log.
• Report issues or incidents to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers professionally.

The Driver Straight Truck/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6AM to 2:30pm

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
