Job summary

Imperial Brady in Tampa is seeking a Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver to join our transportation team. You will run a daily route, deliver products to customer locations, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading with pallet jack and dolly, maintaining logs, inspecting the truck, and coordinating with dispatch. A CDL B, DOT medical, clean driving record, and 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B) required.
• Must pass DOT medical exam.
• Good driving record.
• At least 1 year of CDL B experience.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driverwill be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
