McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods for America's brands. You will inspect tractors, manage logs, and deliver to customer premises, with safety and compliance at the forefront.

This role offers day-one benefits, competitive pay around $70,000 per year, and opportunities to be home regularly. Candidates must be 21+, hold a CDL-A, and have 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Must read, write, and understand English well for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations, documenting receipts and temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Drivers make $70k.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
