McLane Company, Inc. in Plymouth, MI is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver to support distribution for nationwide brands. You will inspect, drive, log DOT compliance, and deliver to customer locations, ensuring accuracy and safety.

This role requires 21+, a valid CDL-A, 1 year/50,000 miles driving experience, and English literacy. Day-one benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance, plus paid holidays and vacation.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job-related tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
