Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver to move products to customers with reliability and safety at the forefront. You’ll play a key role in delivering America's favorite brands while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, a minimum age of 21, and at least 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience. You’ll perform pre/post trip inspections, manage driver logs, and unload deliveries while staying compliant with DOT

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and skill in maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Drivers make $85,000 to $95,000.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
