Job summary

McLane is seeking Shuttle Drivers in Manassas, VA. You’ll deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empties to the distribution center, ensuring secure loads and DOT compliance. Expect $55,000 to $65,000 annually with comprehensive day‑one benefits and strong company support.

Requirements include 21+, CDL-A, 1 year or 50,000 miles of driving, MVR/risk qualifications, and proficient English. Background checks and drug screening may apply; McLane values safety and reliability across a 130+

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full trailers to the Domicile and take empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.
• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul; work safely to prevent injuries.

This Shuttle Driver is responsible for the delivery of full trailers to the Domicile and taking empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $55,000 to $65,000

What you’ll do as a Shuttle Driver:

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.

• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.

• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.

• May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.

• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Shuttle Driver Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
