As a Shuttle Driver, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe transport of goods, maintaining vehicle logs, and adhering to safety regulations. Qualifications include holding a valid CDL-A and having at least 50,000 miles of driving experience.

What You’ll Do As a Shuttle Driver

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Shuttle Driver Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely.
