Job summary

Charlestown Place at New Albany is seeking a full-time Driver for our Skilled Nursing community. The role offers $16.00–$18.00/hour with credit for experience, based in New Albany, IN, in-person.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with holiday rotation. You will transport residents to appointments and activities, assist with boarding, perform basic vehicle tasks, and coordinate with staff while ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required and able to pass insurance screening.
• Transportation experience in senior living or healthcare is strongly preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and outings.
• Assist residents on and off the bus using proper equipment and patient-centered support.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, fueling, cleaning, and report maintenance needs or incidents promptly.
• Communicate effectively with facility staff regarding schedules, resident needs, and transportation updates.
• Follow safety and HIPAA requirements; lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

What You'll Do
