Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Clearfield, UT seeks a certified Driver’s Ed Instructor for a full-time daytime role. The position involves guiding students through driver’s education, preparing them for written exams and driving lessons, and assessing readiness for final tests.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with Utah teaching certificate and driver education endorsement or completion of approved instructor course with 90-day test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with Utah teaching certificate and Drivers Education endorsement or approved instructor prep course with passing test within 90 days.
• Experience with youth, strong written and verbal communication, and computer proficiency.
• Valid Utah driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and direction to students in the driver’s education program to prepare them for written exams and driving lessons and assessments.
• Process and categorize students’ driver’s education applications.
• Evaluate student’s performance and determine their readiness to complete the final written exam and driving test.
• Support career development services system by helping students acquire a new skill which will assist them in becoming more employable.
• Maintain accountability of students and property to maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to safety practices.

Job Description

Pay: $55,000 annually - DOE

The Driver’s Education instructor is responsible for monitoring and directing students in the driver’s education program.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
