Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years old.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Observe driving as part of over-the-road instruction and assist the instructor as needed.
• Assist instructor to prepare students for the written exam through lectures, worksheets, and discussions.
• Evaluate students' performance and readiness to complete the final written exam and driving test.
• Support career development services by helping students acquire a new skill to improve employability.
• Maintain accountability of students and property to maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to safety practices.
• Adhere to the center's training schedule of activities and events.
