Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a driver’s education instructor at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY. You will deliver academic and career-technical instruction per approved curricula and guide students toward their goals.

Responsibilities include processing applications, preparing students for exams, evaluating progress, and supporting career development services. A bachelor’s degree, an endorsement in driver’s education, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• An endorsement in driver’s education or a defensive driving course is required.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and categorize students’ driver’s education applications.
• Prepare students for written examination through lectures, worksheets and discussions.
• Evaluate student performance and readiness to complete final written and driving instruction.
• Support career development services by helping students acquire new skills for employability.
• Review and audit all assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness; prepare reports.
• Adhere to student schedules of activities and events.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards.
