Job summary

DriveSafe Driving Schools in Colorado Springs is seeking part-time classroom instructors to teach driving laws and techniques in a classroom setting. You will create an engaging learning environment and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth learning experience.

The role requires 23+ years, a Colorado driver's license, clean driving and criminal records, and prior classroom instruction experience.

Qualifications

• 23 years of age or older.
• Colorado Driver's License.
• Safe driving history; MVRC check.
• Criminal background check passed.
• College degree or comparable work experience.
• 2+ years classroom instruction experience preferred.
• State teacher certification a plus.
• Ability to work with teens and adults in teaching/mentoring roles.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organized and able to work independently.
• Responsible and dependable.
• Good judgment and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a classroom using DriveSafe Approach.
• Prepare for each class per policies and procedures.
• Complete state mandated paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with team to manage special circumstances.
• Clean the classroom at shift end.
• Submit hours according to policies and procedures.
