Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and hire CDL, non-CDL, and driver trainees. You will collaborate with operations leadership to align staffing with demand, maintain candidate experience, and ensure compliance with hiring requirements.

You will develop driver pipelines, attend events, and leverage multiple channels to win top talent while consistently meeting recruitment goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting CDL Drivers or transportation personnel.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to various locations.
• Experience in high-volume recruiting environments preferred.
• Associates degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Sourcing: Manage recruiting for CDL, non-CDL, and driver trainee positions.
• Candidate Screening: Conduct phone screens, verify CDL requirements, assess culture fit.
• Hiring Process Management: Coordinate interviews, manage communications, ensure ATS records.
• Partnership with Operations: Review staffing needs with district/ops leadership; provide market intelligence.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and report recruiting activity to leadership.
