Summary of Driver Recruiter Manager Responsibilities

The Driver Recruiter Manager will be responsible for actively searching for and recruiting oversize/overweight specialized and Cryogenic, hazmat, industrial gases CDL drivers. Obtain all required information, including but not limited to home time requirements, experience, CDL license endorsements, and Canadian eligibility, to review with the team to determine pay rate offerings for candidates. Monitor and encourage compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations through auditing of required documentation submitted by drivers. Provide training to drivers on the rules and regulations for proper completion of all required documents. Offer technical assistance on installation, use, and troubleshooting of Electronic Logging Devices. This position is a critical team member ensuring our fleet operates efficiently. Remote working options are available for the right candidate, but some travel will be expected as required.

How YOU Will Make An Impact

• Proactively engage passive candidates through sourcing, pipeline building, and adopting new sourcing channels. (Always be recruiting)
• Engage candidates via social media comments and messages.
• Collaborate with various recruiters to maximize results.
• Guide candidates through orientation and seating at facilities.
• Achieve hiring goals by screening and pre-qualifying driver candidates to maintain truck count.
• Consult with internal partners on sourcing strategies and market data.
• Develop knowledge of transportation laws and DOT regulations.
• Share information about Southern Pines Trucking's specialized driver pay plans and benefits.
• Manage high volume of calls and social media interactions to ensure prompt communication.
• Provide complete and inspiring information to candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with team members to improve recruiting results.
• Coordinate events, attend and host career fairs, conduct school visits, and network.
• Represent Southern Pines Trucking positively internally and externally. Review roadside observations and discuss issues.
