Job summary

SEL Transportation in the United States, Alabama region is looking for a Driver Recruiter to join our team. We prioritize a strong driver network, safety, and customer care as we continue expanding our flatbed operations in the Southeast.

You will be responsible for responding to inquiries from prospective drivers, performing initial phone pre-screenings, and conducting background checks. The role requires familiarity with MVR and DAC reports and may involve weekend/evening hours to accommodate

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in transportation recruiting or safety is a plus.

Job Description

As a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for:

• Conduct background checks on qualified candidates
• Have knowledge of MVR and DAC reports
• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, recruiting, or safety is a plus.

Qualifications

A Successful Recruiter must consistently demonstrate the company’s Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Recruiter must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• 1-3 years of experience in transportation, recruiting, or safety required
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Previous work experience in customer service or sales is preferred
