Job summary

PGT Trucking, Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to identify, recruit, and onboard new flatbed truck drivers at our Aliquippa, PA location. You will explain benefits and work to qualify candidates in line with company guidelines to grow our fleet of company drivers, lease operators, owner-operators and small fleets.

You will engage potential leads, prequalify candidates, document hiring steps in the ATS, and leverage company resources to find top talent for flatbed trucking roles.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting truck drivers or similar roles is a plus.
• Ability to prequalify candidates quickly and build relationships.
• Comfort using an ATS to document hiring and onboarding steps.

Driver Recruiter

Location: On-Site in Aliquippa, PA 15001

Established in 1981, PGT Trucking, Inc. provides asset-based transportation services with a focus on flatbed, dedicated, specialized, and international solutions. We are the Proud Professionals, made up of the best flatbed truck drivers, mechanics, and office talent in the industry.

As a Driver Recruiter, you will identify, recruit and onboard new flatbed truck drivers at PGT Trucking. You will provide a thorough review of PGT's benefits to encourage applicants through the hiring process and work to qualify candidates in accordance with company guidelines. You are tasked with growing PGT's fleet of professional truck drivers with positions for company drivers, lease purchase operators, owner-operators and small fleet owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly engage potential leads to encourage a full application
• Identify quality candidates for flatbed trucking
• Display a thorough understanding of PGT's benefits to actively recruit applicants to PGT
• Use the ATS to properly document the hiring and onboarding process
• Proactively search for potential leads using company resources

Role Requirements

• HS diploma or GED. Additional education preferred
• Experience with truck driver recruitment preferred
• Must meet department goals for daily talk time on the phone with new candidates
• Ability to quickly prequalify and identify the best candidates
• Great relationship-building skills to keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process
