Job summary

AeroSpec Inc is seeking a Driver/Receiving Clerk in Chandler, AZ, with about 80% time on the road and 20% assisting the shipping and receiving team. The role involves delivering and picking up material daily, loading/unloading, and using an ERP/MRP system to check in parts.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be able to lift 50 lbs regularly, and preferably have manufacturing, operations, or purchasing experience. Long periods of driving are required with potential forklift use.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move equipment and product.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Driver/Receiving Clerk

AeroSpec is looking for a talented individual to take on the role of our Driver – Receiving Clerk in Chandler, AZ. This position is well suited for an individual who likes to spend time on the roads locally in the Phoenix Metro area delivering and picking up material and parts daily.

This position also provides help to our receiving and material handling department by offloading and onloading our pickup and small flatbed trucks, as well as using our ERP system to check in and receive parts.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with 80% of their time spent on the road and 20% aiding the shipping and logistics department.

Essential Functions:

• Transport product/parts to and from various suppliers, vendors, and customers locally
• Regularly engage with suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Load and unload product/parts safely using various means
• Receive and pull components for various kits
• Maintain Company vehicle records and schedule any necessary maintenance
• Assist the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator with packaging outbound materials per requirements
• Operate forklift to move equipment and product throughout the facility
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Clean motor vehicle record with the ability to safely drive manual transmission (all Company vehicles are stick shift)
• Prior experience with manufacturing, operations, or purchasing is strongly preferred
• Prior experience with shipping and receiving using an ERP/MRP system is strongly preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
