Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Driver Payroll Processor to ensure accurate weekly/biweekly payroll processing and data integrity. The role involves handling confidential payroll records, preparing data for audits, and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with Fleet Teams and Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3+ years payroll experience, strong Microsoft Office and payroll software skills, and the ability to work independently in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar field required.
• 1 year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
• 3+ years of payroll/accounting experience required.
• 2+ years of customer experience required.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing data for internal or external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and documents.
• Process weekly payrolls and related transactions.
• Balance batches and retro pay adjustments.
• Handle escalated driver inquiries by phone or email.
