Safety-Kleen is seeking a Driver Operations Manager to oversee daily routes, motivate and direct drivers, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to DOT, EPA, and local regulations. This role sits within the Clean Harbors family and offers growth opportunities.

The position includes a pay range of $75-85K with bonus, health benefits after 30 days, a 401K with company match, and potential tuition reimbursement. Strong leadership and CDL requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Leadership experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach drivers and manage routes.
• Preferred: route driver experience.
• Preferred: dispatch/logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and comply with all regulations.
• Train, develop, and manage sales and service route drivers.
• Coordinate service requests to service customers promptly.
• Conduct end-of-day / morning check-in with drivers and ensure readiness.
• Fulfill duties of route driver when absent.
• Provide field coaching and sales training to drivers.
• Meet customers to discuss needs and identify opportunities.
• Schedule services to prevent and resolve route issues and complaints.
• Ensure documentation and files are complete and compliant.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles safely per DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe environmental and safety policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
