Job summary

Heniff Transportation is seeking a Driver Manager to assign jobs and supervise driver operations, ensuring safety and policy compliance. You will foster strong driver relations, coordinate with customers, and optimize load scheduling to maximize efficiency and revenue.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 5+ years in dispatch/driver management, and familiarity with DOT/OSHA regulations. Travel to corporate offices and a flexible schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in dispatch/driver management.
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Some travel to corporate office and other locations.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers to meet their needs.
• Communicate with customers to ensure high levels of service.
• Maximize driver availability to fully utilize equipment for revenue and profitability.
• Review dispatch sheets and driver assignments for all loads.
• Enter load information into the TMW system and prepare delivery receipts.
• Ensure timely movement of loaded trucks carrying various products.
