Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Previous management or coaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers have consistent miles week to week.
• Monitor HOS use to maximize driver productivity and earnings.
• Pre‑plan inbound drivers at least 24 hours in advance of arrival to terminal.
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Offer driver load options and assign loads to maximize asset productivity.
• Authorize driver layover pay, breakdown pay, and other accessorial pay.
• Coach drivers on performance, time management, and communication.
• Conduct periodic driver performance reviews and provide feedback.
