The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in Bethesda, MD is seeking a non-CDL Driver to transport residents, staff, and visitors in a 12-passenger vehicle. This on-call role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, within our gated retirement community.

Requirements include a valid state driver’s license, a DOT certificate, and at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience. Must be 21+ and capable of operating wheelchair ramps and lifts.

Responsabilités

• Transport residents, staff and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled trips.
• Operate non-CDL passenger buses, vans and sedans including wheelchair-equipped vehicles.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from vehicles.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and refueling as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and log vehicle usage.

Join our team as a non-CDL Driver and help ensure the safety of our cherished residents, valued visitors, and dedicated employees within our gated retirement community. We are seeking experienced Drivers to transport our residents in a 12 passenger vehicle on-call as needed between the hours of Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

How you will make an impact

• Transport residents, staff, and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments
• Operate non-CDL passenger buses, vans, and sedans; vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts
• Assist passengers with boarding and off-boarding from the vehicle
• Prepare vehicles for usage, including performing pre & post-trip vehicle inspections, refueling, and other related tasks
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles
• Log and track vehicle usage

What you will need

• Previous transportation services experience preferred
• Valid State driver’s license. This license must be maintained as a condition of employment.
• Must possess or be able to obtain prior to starting, a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate indicating successful completion of a D.O.T. Physical Examination. This certificate must be maintained as a condition of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to drive
• Ability to operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts, including securement systems. Ability to operate Community vehicles safely; to include non-CDL passenger buses and sedans, demonstrated by successful completion of a road test
