Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain is seeking a Distribution Team member in Utah to drive local routes, collect donations, and support warehouse operations. You will load/unload trucks, assist with inventory, and help with recycling and facility maintenance.

If you are 18+, hold a valid driver's license, pass background/DMV/DOT checks, and can lift up to 100 pounds, join our team and contribute to our nonprofit mission.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and DMV record check required.
• DOT Physical must be passed (paid by Goodwill).
• Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
• Background check is required for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Drives local routes to support Goodwill stores.
• Collects donations from donors at the community donation site.
• Load and unload donated goods.
• Assists with inventory management of donated goods.
• Operate large machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, and trash compactors.
• Assist with recycling operations.

Job description

The Goodwill® stores in Utah, southern Idaho, and Montana are a part of Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain. These thrift stores provide affordable used clothing and household goods. The proceeds support Easterseals-Goodwill programs and services across our four-state region.

As part of our distribution team, you will be ensuring customer satisfaction through various activities. In this role, you will transport goods to and from our stores, load/unload trucks, assist with inventory management, recycling operations, and maintain the warehouse facility.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Drives local routes to support Goodwill stores
• Collects donations from donors at the community donation site
• Load and unload donated goods
• Assists with inventory management of donated goods
• Assist Warehouse Associates with operating large machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, and trash compactors
• Assist with recycling operations

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license issued by state of residence
• Pass DMV record check
• Pass DOT Physical (paid for by Goodwill)
• Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance
• Ability to work with people having various abilities
• All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Experience

• Previous driver/warehouse experience is beneficial, but not required
