Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Suwanee, GA is hiring a Class C Truck Driver for local home daily routes. You will operate a straight truck 26' with a manual pallet jack, and earn weekly pay with an hourly rate of $22.32 and 40-50 hours weekly.

Ryder offers training, medical/dental/vision benefits after 30 days, PTO starting Day 1, uniforms and boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience in similar equipment (straight truck/box).
• 6 months experience in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5, or 5 years in last 10.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including Drug/alcohol verification from last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
