Job summary

Ryder in Newnan, GA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Earn a $1700 weekly average with a weekly guarantee, sign-on bonus, and an annual retention bonus, plus paid training and generous PTO from Day 1.

Ryder supports drivers with 24/7 roadside maintenance, uniforms/boot allowance, 401(k) with company match, maternity leave, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical and road test.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee: $1657.94
• Sign On Bonus: $3000
• Annual Retention Bonus: $1000
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.67 per Mile with 1600 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$16.25 per Stop with up to 30 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 4 nights per Week
• Touch Freight Pay: $0.15 per piece with 2000 pieces per Week
• Paid Training
• Over the road and high touch freight experience required
• Must be able to fly to locations you will cover
• Start Time: Varies based on HOS

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
