PODS in Wilmington, MA is seeking a delivery driver to perform delivery and pickup of containers at customer sites, ensuring safe handling and strong customer rapport. You will drive a commercial truck with a lift, log inspections, and assist with storage center duties as needed.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift when required, performing field repairs, and maintaining truck cleanliness. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a delivery driver.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license from the state of assignment.
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards including no moving violations in past 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold Medical Examiner's Certificate (or ability to obtain 1-year DOT certification).
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software.

• Perform and log daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries to meet business needs.
• Use handheld device for delivery verification and navigation.

• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift
• Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs
• Use company handheld device for delivery verification and navigation
• Meets all goals and metrics

• Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customer
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions and/or issues; Prepare driver notes as needed

Pay Rate: $26.00 - 26.50

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Market Manager, Territory Manager
• Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

Pay Range: 26.00-26.50 per_hour, General Benefits: Medical, Dental and vision insurance plans available. Paid Time Off plan and Safety bonuses are available for driver positions. Boot voucher and uniforms provided.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a delivery driver
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license from the state in which position is assigned
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards which includes no moving violations during the past three (3) years (insurance requirement)
• Must be at least 18 years of age (insurance requirement)
• Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1 year certification (DOT requirement)
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
