Job summary

First Student, Inc. in East Lyme, CT is seeking a dependable School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school each day, guided by our industry-leading route technology and a supportive team. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and assist students with boarding when needed.

Starting wage is $20 per hour, with paid CDL training and guaranteed hours. No experience is necessary—we train.

Qualifications

• 21 years old minimum.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Subject to a drug screen and physical.
• No experience required; we train!

About the School Bus Driver Position

School Bus Driver Qualifications

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
