Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking a dependable delivery driver in Allentown, PA to perform daily 26-foot box truck deliveries and support warehouse operations. You will load/unload goods, ensure accurate orders, and maintain high customer service standards while following DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid license, DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of box truck experience. This position is local, home daily, with potential for growth within logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a current valid DOT medical card.
• 21+ years of age.
• 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or with a team.
• Prior warehouse experience and good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes daily deliveries to customers using a 26 foot Non CDL Box Truck.
• Loads and unloads trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited use of lift gates.
• Provides excellent customer service on every delivery.
• Prepares product for shipping to include boxing and shrink wrapping.
• Ensures deliveries are made safely and timely to meet customer needs.
• Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues.
• Home daily - no overnight routes.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
