Job summary

Titan Production Equipment, LLC is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver inventory and products to facilities, vendors, or customers on a daily basis. You will communicate with dispatchers, plan routes, and ensure cargo security while maintaining accurate logs and compliance with regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 12 months of related experience, and a valid CDL with a DOT medical certificate. Candidates must pass a DOT physical and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Job Description

• Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers


• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws


• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle


• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations


• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving


• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules


• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations


• Reporting defects, accidents and violations


• Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)


• Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks


• Interacting with customers in a professional manner


• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports


• Verifying loads for accuracy


• May drive forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to truck or to pick up items from several locations for shipment

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience


• Twelve (12) months of related experience


• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.


• Must successfully pass a DOT physical with a medical examiner's certificate of no less than 1 year.


• Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and maintain a driving record within company standards, adhering to policies, procedures and all traffic laws and regulations.

Physical Strain

• Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
