Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL seeks a reliable Delivery Driver to perform daily deliveries using a 26-foot box truck. You will load/unload cargo, ensure accurate shipping preparation, and maintain DOT compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Based in Allentown, this role offers a home daily schedule with no overnight routes and requires a valid license, DOT medical card, and 1+ year driving experience. Temperature and safety protocols apply in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card.
• 21+ years old with 1+ year experience driving a 26-foot box truck.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or with a team.
• Good customer service and attention to detail.
• Effective communication (spoken and written) and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily deliveries using a 26 ft non-CDL box truck to customers.
• Load and unload trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited lift gates.
• Provide excellent customer service and shipping preparation (boxing, wrapping).
• Ensure deliveries are safe and timely to meet customer needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations; maintain DOT medical card status.
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Home daily – no overnight routes; perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have current DOT medical card
• 21+ years of age
• 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with a team
• Prior warehouse experience
• Good customer service skills
• Must possess attention to detail
• Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
