Job summary

Bay Insulation of Colorado is seeking a dependable NCDL Driver/Warehouse Associate to deliver insulation products to scheduled job sites and support warehouse operations. You will ensure on-time deliveries and maintain professional interactions with customers at drop-off points.

The role includes daily pre-trip inspections, DOT compliance, data entry, loading and unloading trucks, and helping verify inventory.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar)
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations to receive/maintain a med card
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of the vehicle

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and completes basic maintenance as needed
• Reports mechanical/maintenance issues to the Division Manager
• Performs shipping/receiving duties and data entry of orders
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with regulations
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading
• Secures customer signatures on receipts and collects COD charges when specified
• Ensures correct inventory by verifying counts
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders
• Reports issues discovered at the job site to the Division Manager

Bay Insulation of Colorado is actively looking for a NCDL Driver/Warehouse Associate who is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. This associate will assist with all warehouse functions as well as the loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms and completes minor maintenance if needed.
• Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Division Manager in a timely manner.
• Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges when specified.
• Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
• Reports any issues to the Division Manager that were discovered at the job site.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar vehicle), required.
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations in order to receive and maintain a med card, required.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle.
• As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
