Job summary

Bay Insulation of Ohio is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to transport insulation products to job sites as per a scheduled route. You will ensure on-time deliveries and interact professionally with customers at delivery sites.

The role may also include assisting in the warehouse with production and material handling. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A, a valid DOT medical card, and at least two years of verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.

• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Obtains customer signature on receipts and collects COD charges.
• Verifies material counts on delivery.
• Move, pick up, and drop off trailers.

Bay Insulation of Ohio is actively looking for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver who will be responsible for the delivery of insulation products to job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. In addition, it may be required to assist in the warehouse with production and moving materials and products.

Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges.
• Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery.
• Move, pick up, and drop off trailers.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
• Valid DOT Medical card.
• Two years of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer within the last 5 years is required.
• As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
