Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting drivers with delivery and merchandising of products.

People or Process Management Responsibility

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Assisting drivers in the delivery of products to customers
2. Unloading products
3. Merchandising customer accounts
4. Maintaining customer relationships, merchandising, displaying, and rotating products according to company standards
5. Picking up company property
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
7. Performing other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum legal age requirements
• At least six months of relevant work experience (e.g., distribution warehouse, roofing, farming, grocery, construction, healthcare, or other physically demanding roles involving heavy lifting and multi-temperature environments)
• Reliable automobile transportation, an acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance coverage as per company and state requirements
• Ability to regularly lift products weighing 25 to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background check

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with handheld ordering devices, merchandising, grocery stocking, or delivery
• Prior customer service experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to handle exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and work safely around moving equipment
