Job summary

SEL Transportation, a flatbed trucking leadership firm in the Southeast, seeks a Driver Manager to oversee daily driver activities and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. You will coordinate with load planners, assign work via McLeod software, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting drivers’ needs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, detailed planning, and interpersonal skills, with a Monday–Friday 7am–5pm schedule and full-time benefits through PS Logistics’ family of companies.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners and coordinate with drivers nationwide.
• Utilize McLeod to assign work to drivers across the country.
• Direct daily activities of drivers to territories or dedicated operations in line with policies and objectives.
• Provide guidance on compliance with local, state, and federal trucking regulations.
• Ensure drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on time to customers.
• Counsel drivers and assist with over-the-road issues.
• Assist drivers with maintaining documents such as licenses, drug tests, and physicals.
