Job summary

Paper Transport, Inc. is seeking a Driver Manager onsite in De Pere, WI. You will motivate and guide a team of drivers to achieve top-level on-time service, MPG results, and retention. The role emphasizes building a strong team atmosphere and solid partnerships with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher in Business Administration preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, routes, and service to ensure on-time deliveries and safety.
• Build relationships with driver team through integrity and accountability.
• Dispatch drivers and freight per policy and federal guidelines.
• Coach on KPIs like safety, performance, and maintenance.
• Assist planners with freight routing and change communication.
• Respond to customer needs via emails, calls, tracking freight, and load recovery.

This role is located onsite in our De Pere, WI office.

• Assisttheplannersinreworkingfreightandmanagethechangecommunication.
• Respondtointernalandexternalcustomerneedsbyansweringemails,phonecalls,trackingfreight,andloadrecoverytoserviceourcustomer.
• Coachyourdriverteamtosuccessandsafetycompliance.
• Thinkcriticallyinaneverchangingindustry.
• Beresponsiblefordriverteamretention.
• Partnerwithdrivers,plannersandcustomerservicetomeetcustomerandserviceexpectations.
• Approvedriverpayanddriverbilloflading(BOL)submission.
