Job summary

Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Driver & Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks for the facility and assist with resident transportation in a timely and safe manner.

The role includes supporting housekeeping with floor care, performing light repairs, and onboarding/training to stay current with safety practices. Occasional weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare is preferred.
• Training will be offered on-site regardless of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support community with day-to-day maintenance functions, upkeep, and reporting.
• Safely transport residents in a timely manner and assist housekeeping with floor care duties.
• Patch, paint, minor repairs, and assist residents in and out of vans or wheelchairs.
• Occasional weekend hours may be required to support new admissions.

Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking Driver & Maintenance Technician. The Driver & Maintenance Technician will assume responsibility for and accountability of carrying out the maintenance tasks for the facility.

Responsibilities include supporting the community with day-to-day maintenance functions, upkeep, cleanliness, complete necessary reports and safely transporting residents in a timely manner. Assist the housekeeping team with floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep cleaning. Occasional weekend hours may be required to support new admissions. These instances are intermittent and typically brief.

Tasks may include patching, painting, minor facility repairs, floor cleaning; assisting residents in and out of vans, vehicles, wheelchairs and/or movable beds; ensure all residents experience a safe and comfortable transportation process; participate in onboarding and ongoing training to stay current with safety and compliance practices.

Job Requirements:

Current valid driver’s license with no serious infractions.

Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.

Experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare are preferred. Training will be offered on-site regardless of level of experience.
