Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Driver & Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance tasks, upkeep, and safe transport of residents. The role supports the community with day-to-day tasks and reports.

Responsibilities include floor care, patching and repairs, and onboarding and safety training. Must have a valid driver’s license, pass drug screen and background check; on-site training offered for all experience levels.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver’s license with no serious infractions.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare are preferred. Training will be offered on-site regardless of level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance tasks and safety for residents.
• Assist housekeeping with floor care: stripping, waxing, buffing, deep cleaning.
• Transport residents safely in vans, vehicles, wheelchairs, or movable beds.
• Complete reports and participate in onboarding and safety training.

Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking Driver & Maintenance Technician. The Driver & Maintenance Technician will assume responsibility for and accountability of carrying out the maintenance tasks for the facility.

Responsibilities include supporting the community with day-to-day maintenance functions, upkeep, cleanliness, complete necessary reports and safely transporting residents in a timely manner. Assist the housekeeping team with floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep cleaning. Occasional weekend hours may be required to support new admissions. These instances are intermittent and typically brief.

Tasks may include patching, painting, minor facility repairs, floor cleaning; assisting residents in and out of vans, vehicles, wheelchairs and/or movable beds; ensure all residents experience a safe and comfortable transportation process; participate in onboarding and ongoing training to stay current with safety and compliance practices.
