• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• At least 1 year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker or bobtail
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to work weekends and extended workweeks
• May be subject to site drug testing requirements
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety, compliance and customer service

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company and customer safety policies.
• Load and unload products professionally, safely and efficiently at customer locations.
• Connect and disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves for loading and unloading.
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara) as directed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely if applicable.
• Cross-train on Class B operations.
• Adhere to accident and incident reporting procedures for spills.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by manager.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures


• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner


• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings


• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)


• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable


• Cross train on Class B


• Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills


• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You'll Bring

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
