Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries seeks a Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver in Burney, California. This full-time position involves driving lumber trucks, loading and securing loads, tarping as needed, and performing daily truck inspections to meet dispatch schedules.

Drivers are home almost daily, with occasional overnight travel. Requires a Class A license and 1 year of commercial driving experience; benefits include health, retirement contributions, paid vacation, and 10 holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking
• Meet dispatch schedules on time
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Our Local Shuttle Lumber Truck drivers are home almost daily, with occasional overnight travel

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division in Burney, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

About The Position
