Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Red Bluff, CA, seeks a qualified Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division. You will drive lumber trucks, load and secure lumber, tarp loads as needed, and perform daily vehicle inspections to meet dispatch schedules.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $27.36 to $32.36, a $1,500 hiring bonus, comprehensive health benefits and a 401(k) with company match, plus paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record, and good work references.
• 1-year commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking
• Meet dispatch schedules on time
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division in Red Bluff, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.


About the Position

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
