Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Local Shuttle Lumber Truck Driver in Burney, California. This role offers an opportunity for experienced commercial drivers or a training path with required qualifications.

The position emphasizes safety, on-time dispatch, and getting drivers home almost every day with occasional overnight travel. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $27.36 to $32.36 plus a hiring bonus up to $1,500, excellent health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and retirement

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record, and good work references.
• 1 year commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws.
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination.
• Tarping of loads as needed.
• Perform daily inspection of truck.
• Learn and operate onboard time and load info tracking.
• Meet dispatch schedules on time.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Drivers are home almost daily, with occasional overnight travel.
