Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and safety-consciousDriver, Loader, and Unloader to support daily transportation and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting products to/from designated locations, loading and unloading materials, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Some use of fork-lift, need previous experience. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Load / Unload Box Truck
• Use of Forklift
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport products, materials, and equipment to/from customer and company locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Load and unload products, materials, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verify delivery contents against shipping documents and customer orders.
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining excellent time management.
• Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and maintain accurate transportation records.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Assist with warehouse organization, inventory movement, and material staging when not making deliveries.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members regarding delivery status and issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, loading area, and work environment.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist in other warehouse, shipping, receiving, or production duties as assigned.

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
