Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have good moral character and be a U.S. citizen of Oklahoma and graduate of an accredited four-year high school.
• Four years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviews applicants to determine the license type and verifies documents; explains disqualifications and required steps.
• Administers vision, written and road tests; evaluates applicant performance for safety and compliance.
• Establishes and maintains driver’s license records, protecting confidentiality per laws.
• Responds to inquiries from motor license agents and law enforcement; explains laws and procedures.
