Job summary

Juniper is hiring a Driver Leadman - Irrigation Install to join our installation team in Florida. This role works with the landscape construction crew and handles temporary supervisory duties when the foreman is away, a development path toward becoming a Landscape Construction Foreman.

The position supports irrigation installation, tree/shrub planting, sod, and hardscape work while upholding Juniper’s safety and quality standards. You’ll join a team recognized for growth and reliable benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with landscape construction projects.
• Knowledge of irrigation, grading, drainage, and sod installation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lead a crew and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the installation crew as needed.
• Oversee irrigation/sprinkler installation tasks.
• Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers; lay sod and mulch.
• Assist with hardscape projects like pavers and stone walls.
• Dig trenches, prep soil, and move materials and tools.
• Ensure safety and quality on every site visit.
• Coordinate workflow with foreman and other crews.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Support supervisor duties during foreman absences.
• Provide hands-on training to junior team members.

This is a development role toward becoming a Landscape Construction Foreman with our team.

Responsibilities

• Planting trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds
• Laying sod
• Installing pavers, stone walls, and hardscape projects
• Installing mulch
• Irrigation/sprinkler installation
• Digging trenches and holes
• Prepping soil areas for plantings
• Hand-watering
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials
• Leading and directing the crew as needed
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape installation/construction duties
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

• Experience with landscape construction projects
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation
• Supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
