Qualifications

• Experience with landscape construction projects.
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation.
• Supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors for long periods in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly.
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment for landscape construction projects.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Planting trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
• Laying sod.
• Installing pavers, stone walls, and hardscape projects.
• Installing mulch.
• Irrigation/sprinkler installation.
• Digging trenches and holes.
• Prepping soil areas for plantings.
• Hand-watering.
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials.
• Leading and directing the crew as needed.
• Using hand tools, power tools and equipment to perform landscape installation/construction duties.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
