Job summary

NWCGC in Kentucky seeks a reliable transportation driver to support mental health services for local clients. You will provide safe, on-time transport, communicate clearly with clients and staff, and adhere to all regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include vehicle maintenance, completing required documentation, and coordinating with the treatment team to determine appropriate levels of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass driving history standards for insurance and regulatory agencies.
• Must pass a pre-employment urine drug screen.
• Must pass a Federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clientele, facility staff, supervisors and co-workers.
• Complete vehicle maintenance as directed by Transportation supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to transportation services and clientele issues as per standards.
• Coordinate with treatment team to develop appropriate level of service.
• Obey all state traffic laws and NWCGC policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation services as is necessary and appropriate for the clientele. Special accommodations may be requested by 3rd party payers, facility staff, or caregivers.
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with clientele, facility staff, supervisors and co-workers. This includes both verbally and in writing if necessary.
• Complete vehicle maintenance as directed by Transportation supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to transportation services and/or clientele issues that may occur during a scheduled trip, which are in accordance with certification, funding source, contracting agencies, and program standards.
• Coordinate with treatment team members to develop the appropriate level of service to the clientele.
• Obey all state traffic laws and regulations as well as NWCGC related policies and procedures.

Requirements

Requirements -- Education and/or Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old.
