Job summary

NWCGC in Sheboygan, Wisconsin is seeking a Transportation Specialist to support mental health services by safely transporting clients and coordinating with treatment teams. The role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

You will perform vehicle maintenance, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with policies and state laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Able to pass driving history standards for insurance and regulatory agencies.
• Must pass a pre-employment urine Drug Screen and follow-up random screens.
• Must pass a Federal Background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services as necessary for clientele.
• Communicate effectively with clientele, staff, and coworkers, in writing when needed.
• Complete vehicle maintenance as directed by Transportation supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to transportation services and clientele issues.
• Coordinate with treatment team to determine appropriate level of service.
• Obey all state traffic laws and NWCGC policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation services as is necessary and appropriate for the clientele. Special accommodations may be requested by 3rd party payers, facility staff, or caregivers.
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with clientele, facility staff, supervisors and co-workers. This includes both verbally and in writing if necessary.
• Complete vehicle maintenance as directed by Transportation supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to transportation services and/or clientele issues that may occur during a scheduled trip, which are in accordance with certification, funding source, contracting agencies, and program standards.
• Coordinate with treatment team members to develop the appropriate level of service to the clientele.
• Obey all state traffic laws and regulations as well as NWCGC related policies and procedures.
