Job summary

Pace Solano is seeking a driver to provide safe curb-to-curb transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will follow routes, report incidents, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness under supervision.

Must have a CA Class B or Commercial Class C license with passenger endorsement, a current medical card, DMV printout, and be able to lift up to 38 lbs. DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance and pre-employment testing are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CA Class B or Commercial Class C driver’s license with passenger endorsement.
• Proof of current medical card.
• An acceptable DMV printout.
• Ability to lift/transfer/push/pull up to 38 lbs. occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment test (grammar, spelling, math).
• DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide curb-to-curb transportation following established routes and procedures.
• Perform daily safety checks on vehicle and wheelchair lift; report safety concerns.
• Complete attendance, mileage, and fuel documentation daily.
• Assist participants with daily living needs and participate in activities and documentation.
