Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center is hiring a driver to transport children to appointments and activities in California. You will operate company vehicles with a passenger-endorsed CDL, ensuring safety protocols and regulatory compliance are followed in daily routes.

Responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, coordinating with resource parents, and reporting any safety concerns. Must be 21+, hold CDL, and maintain active licensure with DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class C or Class B, required.
• Must maintain active licensure as a condition of employment.
• Behind-the-wheel CDL training completed.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Bilingual in Spanish is requested but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-issued passenger transport vehicles to transport children to appointments and other approved destinations.
• Ensure safety: all passengers must wear seat belts and use proper car seats for children as required.
• Comply with DOT, DMV, and transportation laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per CDL standards.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or incidents promptly to supervision.
• Maintain vehicles in safe, clean, and inspection-ready condition.
• Coordinate with resource parents on scheduling and routes.
• Maintain documentation: mileage logs, gas receipts, manifests, maintenance logs.
• Adhere to company policies; no personal use of company vehicles.
