Job summary

Light & Wonder Corporation is seeking a driver to pick up and deliver goods and equipment for the Gaming team. Responsibilities include operating box trucks or other specialized equipment, performing vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures; must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

  • Load and unload trucks and ensure accuracy of delivery paperwork.

  • Deliver company cargo to suppliers and distributors and assist shipping with packaging/loading outbound shipments.
  • Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety regulations; maintain equipment in working order.

Position Summary:

The Drivers focus specializes in driving any size vehicle. Responsibilities include picking and delivering goods, packages or equipment. May be required to load or unload contents of the vehicle.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Operate box trucks, pickup trucks, or other specialized equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents promptly.
  • Responsible for company cargo delivery to suppliers and distributors. Ensures accuracy of all paperwork related to the job.
  • Assist the shipping department with packaging, labeling, staging and loading outbound shipments
  • Responsible for safety of crewmembers, fellow employees, and the public while operating company vehicles and/or supervising/performing any company activity.
  • Follows proper guidelines for use of all equipment needed for completing local moving and storage jobs.
  • Ensures vehicles and equipment are clean, safe and kept in working order.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, maintain a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required.
  • Valid Class C license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of driving experience.
  • Experience with long-haul, regional, or specialized freight preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures and must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances
  • Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Class C license required with clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
  • Able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
Work Conditions:
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying road environments.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
